TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

WEDDING/OCCASION MAKEUP AND HAIR BOOKINGS

All bookings require a non-refundable £40.00 booking fee to secure the dates of both a consultation/trial, and event day (£20 for each).

Should any member of the party cancel their booking after the booking fee has been paid the fee will not be refunded but may be transferred. If any party cancel a service after the booking fee has been paid, within a period of 12 weeks prior to their event, payment in full will still be due. 

Date is fully secure upon payment of the booking fee, followed by a confirmation email/message/text from Emma or Niki.

MINIMUM & MAXIMUM NUMBERS FOR WEDDINGS

Any wedding requires a minimum booking of 4 people to include a bride and 3 others.

There is no minimum number required to have make-up applied for a wedding at the salon but minimum numbers for hair styling may apply.

Mid week, on location weddings may require a minimum of 3 people.

A party of 8 or more people may require an additional member of staff, and additional fees will be applied.

If your venue requires a move mid morning, this could incur a fee of up to £40 depending on the distance required to travel. (This generally only applies to weddings)

 

PROM & OCCASION MAKE-UP AND HAIR BOOKINGS

All other occasion bookings, including parties and proms also require a £40 booking fee (£20 hair + £20 makeup) which will be deducted from the balance of 'Day-Of-Event' hair/make-up.

 

CONSULTATIONS/TRIALS

A consultation for any occasion, including a wedding party or prom, constitutes a trial and will require a separate payment of £50.00 - £80.00 per person, depending on the occasion. 

This is non-refundable under any circumstances. Makeup for weddings must include a trial for at the least the bride - We will not travel to a wedding without a makeup trial having taken place - unless by prior arrangement. This is for safety and insurance validation.

We strongly recommend that children under the age of 10 are not brought to the salon for health and safety purposes and insurance validation - We are not insured to have children at the salon.

Makeup and/or strip lashes cannot be applied to children under the age of 16 for insurance purposes.

We can however arrange a mini pamper on the day for flower girls to feel involved in the getting ready process if required. 

 

BOOKING FEES

Bank transfers and paypal are accepted, or cash if you have arranged to pay on the day. Failure to pay the booking fee will mean that your chosen date is not secure and could be booked by someone else. Appointments are only confirmed upon receipt of the booking fee and a confirmation email.

 

FINAL BALANCE

All balances must be settled 14 days prior to a event, unless an alternative arrangement has been made. (Prom/occasion makeup & hair may be paid on the day).

 

CANCELLATIONS

All booking fees are non-refundable and will be treated as a cancellation fee should the client wish to cancel their appointment.

 

TRAVEL

Bookings where Emma or Niki are required to travel less than 20 miles NP16 will not incur a travel charge.

Mileage over 20 miles will incur a fee of 50 pence per mile, which is added to the final balance.

BANK HOLIDAYS/SUNDAYS

Any group booking on a bank holiday weekend will be subject to a one off supplement of  £45.

PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Emma will require information on whether the client has any allergies, information on health conditions and any medication the client might take, in order to keep clients safe and avoid contraindications or adverse reactions to products.

Niki and Emma accept no liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and reactions.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS

Emma and Niki usually take photos or film the results of make-up and hair styles at trial - for reference and continuity only.

'On the day' photos/video may be used for promotional and/or commercial purposes. If you do not consent to this please let one of us know.
